WreckD — Mod Feed is now available on the Chrome Web Store

WreckD — Mod Feed is now available on the Chrome Web Store. It puts the latest public mod releases and approved updates one click away, alongside your WreckD messages and notifications when you are signed in.

Fresh from the garage

Open the addon to browse a simple feed of recent releases and updates. Each entry shows the mod, creator and version, with a link to its WreckD page. No account is needed to explore the public feed.

Your inbox, in your toolbar

Signed in to WreckD in the same Chrome profile? The addon shows your avatar and name, with separate News, Messages and Notifications tabs. Read conversations and send replies inside the popup, see activity with avatars where applicable, and use the toolbar badge to spot unread messages and notifications while Chrome is running.

Guests see the public feed and an option to sign in. You do not need to enter your password into the addon: it uses your existing WreckD website session. If that session expires, sign in on the site again.

Add WreckD to Chrome

1. Open WreckD — Mod Feed on the Chrome Web Store.
2. Select Add to Chrome, then confirm Add extension.
3. Open Chrome’s extensions menu using the puzzle-piece icon and pin WreckD.
4. Click the WreckD mascot to browse the feed. Sign in on wreckd.net in the same profile to see your inbox and notifications.

Chrome handles updates automatically for the store version. Our addon setup guide walks you through installation and checks your connection.

Already using the manual version?

Install the official store version, then remove the older unpacked WreckD copy from Chrome’s extensions page to avoid duplicate icons. Removing the old extension does not delete your WreckD account or conversations.

Your privacy choices still apply

The addon works as a guest feed. Private messages and notification contents are not stored in its feed cache or included in addon analytics. Optional aggregate analytics follows your WreckD privacy choices. Incognito uses a separate sign-in and does not inherit your regular account session.
